About us
Today, growth and innovation can rarely be maximized by one company, one service organization or even one industry going it alone. Central Minnesota Manufacturers Association (CMMA) exists for the primary purpose of contributing to the growth and success of manufacturers.

Great connections were made yesterday at the CMMA fifth annual CTE Jamboree in Sartell! 🍎⚙️ About 75 people attended the CTE (Career and Technical Education) Jamboree that focused on creating viable partnerships between education and manufacturing. The jamboree included a tour of Sartell High School’s CTE programming which includes real-world experience with construction, metals, robotics, manufacturing and more. Classes like SabreCON Habitat for Humanity Home Build give students the chance to apply their skills, contributing to community service and gaining practical experience in the construction industry. Slides from the presentation "Aligning Learning with Livelihood: The Future Has Arrived" by Luke Greiner, Labor Market Analyst, MN Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) can be found here: https://ow.ly/fmVQ50Ue55W 🙌 Thanks to the great presenters: Lester Engel, CMMA President; Patrick Walsh, Superintendent at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Secondary School, Tim Zipoy, Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services, Inc.; Luke Greiner at Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development; Alison Orgaard, Resource Training & Solutions; Scott Leffler and Ryan Dewey, Chisago Lakes Senior High School; and Peter Ladwig and Leslie Hunter, Niron Magnetics, Inc. Special thanks to Michael Rivard, Ed.D., Shayne Kusler, Nick Phillips, and Joseph Schulte at Sartell High School .

👉 HEY---- there is a new date and time for the CMMA CTE Jamboree! November 21 • 7:15 am • Sartell High School REGISTER now: https://ow.ly/N5Yt50U0ALv 🍎 You're invited! 🍎 CMMA is excited to sponsor the 5th annual Central Minnesota CTE Jamboree. This event helps bridge the gap between education and the manufacturing industry as we build stronger career pathways by developing student training and apprenticeship opportunities through Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways for high school students. We invite school board members, superintendents, principals, counselors, CTE Teachers, manufacturers, and community leaders to hear about the thriving CTE initiatives in our state. The format, which includes a fantastic lineup of speakers, will allow local manufacturers and educators to interact and vision programs to expand on the CTE focus that is taking place in education right now.
