AGED Diagnostics, led by founder Rachel Zayas-Schwartz just secured $2.2M in funding from the Central Texas Angel Network, Life Science Angels, and SWAN Impact Network to revolutionize liver disease detection. This investment will power AGED Diagnostics' next steps in bringing their blood test to market. Using targeted genomic sequencing, this test offers early, non-invasive detection for liver diseases like NASH and fibrosis, potentially sparing patients from more invasive biopsies and enabling faster, more effective interventions. As CTAN Deal Team member Anthony Gellert put it, AGED Diagnostics is filling a critical gap, giving healthcare providers the tools they need for earlier, life-changing decisions in liver care.
