  • For 28 years, the Austin Empty Bowl Project has created a ripple effect of care and community through art. This year, the impact was incredible. Over 3,000 handcrafted bowls were donated by talented Austin-area potters, and 32 local restaurants generously contributed 212 gallons of soup. On Sunday, 1,321 attendees joined us, and 2,335 bowls found new homes, each purchase directly supporting hunger relief. Thanks to this cherished event, the funds raised helped provide more than 168,000 meals to children and families across Central Texas. We’re deeply grateful to the potters, organizers, and 250 dedicated volunteers who gave their time and talents to make this possible. Proceeds from this year’s event directly support children’s programs at CTFB and Meals on Wheels Central Texas, ensuring kids have access to nutritious meals and brighter futures. Thank you to everyone who helped nourish lives and strengthen communities across our region. Together, we’re making a difference! #AustinEmptyBowl #CTFB #CentralTexasFoodBank
