Last week, Chauvet celebrated the holidays with a week full of festive fun! 🎉 In the lead-up to our holiday lunch on Friday, we counted down with holiday-themed days for everyone to participate in. From Reindeer Day to Ugly Sweater Day, Grinch Day, and Elf Day, it was great seeing everyone in the holiday spirit! 🎅 The lunch was the perfect way to wrap up the week, as employees came together to share the holiday spirit and connect with colleagues across the company. Underhill used the MagicQ MQ250M to blend precise programming with on-the-fly busking. “This console allows me to add busking to a cue show seamlessly… I’m using Execute Screens and Changing Banks on the fly, which is really great..." “Chamsys makes importing patch information and cue times easy with minimal effort,” he said. “Also, the Timeline feature provides me with a simple way to fine-tune cue timing, helping me create greater depth within the programming of the MQ tracks... ILUMINARC Brings Changing Moods to Viva Toro BROOKLYN, NY📍 – Everyone feels right at home when they visit Brooklyn’s Viva Toro; it doesn’t matter if they want to sit down to a Sunday family dinner; take a wild ride on the borough’s only mechanical bull; or dance the night away to the latest Latin sounds. Part of the reason for this welcoming feeling is due to the friendly staff, part to the mouthwatering food and handcrafted drinks, and part to the magic worked by ILUMINARC. LD Tirso Pelaez of Tirso Lighting (Bronx, NY) used ILUMINARC fixtures as down lights at Viva Toro, positioning them on the room’s ceiling. Located in a warehouse in the heart of hip Williamsburg, the 7,500 square foot restaurant/club has timbered ceilings, and exposed brick walls, giving it an evocative rustic look and serving as an ideal backdrop for the richly saturated colors produced by the dozen washes. “A big reason why I love these lights is the color,” said Pelaez. “The colors are very beautiful, and we can change moods very dramatically by changing the colors produced by the ILUMINARC luminaires. We use the lights to create an elegant and relaxing ambience during the early hours when people are having dinner, then we’ll open things up during the party hours.” Want to read more?
