Consider applying your research skills to answer our key restoration questions about the effectiveness of stormwater and stream restoration programs at the watershed/catchment scale; effectiveness of restoration practices at the project scale; social science to accelerate adoption of BMPs and help quantify targeted outcomes; and trade-offs in resource improvements incurred by restoration practices and the resulting net ecological change. The crossover of our dream: Urban Trees 🤝 Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps. Urban Trees grantee, Global Health and Education Projects, Inc., recently shared a video telling the stories of their residents in Prince George’s County who are part of the Family Tree Adoption Program (FTAP). GHEP says that "these community members share how their new trees have transformed their lives, homes, and neighborhoods while contributing to a greener, healthier environment."
