About us
The Chicago Federation of Labor Workforce and Community Initiative is a 501(c) 3 workforce and economic development organization located in Chicago, IL. The CFL Initiative's mission is twofold. The first is to work with job seekers, including laid off workers, veterans, low income, and disadvantaged communities to provide job search and training solutions that lead to employment. The second is to work with businesses and unions to assist them with finding and preparing a workforce that can meet the technological advances and help them remain competitive in the 21st century. Formerly the Chicago Federation of Labor Workers Assistance Committee. Transformation to CFL Initiative in 2016.
