Director of Program Relationship Management at the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership, National Association of Workforce Development (NAWDP) State Director for Illinois Board Member
Today, we had the last out of 5 Illinois Tollway Stakeholder Advisory Team Meetings. What an experience it was to be at the table amongst many professionals and provide input to help shape the future of the tollway in the next five years and make it the best tollway system in the country. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of this experience. Thank you to my CEO, George Wright, for allowing me to represent the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership and highlight the importance of workforce development in strategic plans like these. Shout out to Cassaundra Rouse, Executive Director of the Tollway. You rock! You and your team made this process inviting, judgemental-free, fun, and space of collaboration and innovation. I learned a lot and made connections that are important to our industry. We can't do it alone. It's time to widen the lane and work together. As Cassaundra said, it’s the last meeting, but the communication doesn’t end. I’m excited to see the final draft of all the great collaboration in those meetings. #illinoistollway #workforcedevelopment #chicookworks #stakeholderadvisory #diversity #inclusion #sustainablity #innovation #equitable #economicdevelopment #SAT #partnerships
