A huge thank you to Monsees & Mayer, P.C. for going above and beyond in meeting our child-specific needs for October! Their support has played a vital role in making sure the children at the CAC have access to child-friendly items that not only help them feel comfortable but also offer them a means to express, learn, and process their experiences through play. We appreciate your generous donation and support of The Child Advocacy Center. 🌟 💙

We’re proud to be a part of the #iCare movement this October in support of Harmony House and survivors of domestic violence. Children were witnesses in 1 of 4 intimate partner violence cases filed in state courts. These children can be traumatized by these violent experiences, but with adults that care and provide guidance, attention, and support can help them heal. At the Child Advocacy Center, we work in partnership to connect our families and children with mental health resources at absolutely no cost.

How can you help stand up against bullying? Be kind. Be someone who stands up for yourself and others, befriends the bullied, and shows empathy toward others. Helping students recognize healthy vs. unhealthy relationship characteristics is one way The Child Advocacy Center decreases bullying in our schools through prevention education.
