Today, Child Start was proud to join forces with lawmakers at the Kansas State Capitol in advocating for the importance of early childhood education. It’s clear that the partnership between legislators and early childhood professionals is vital to shaping a brighter future for Kansas children. As part of this remarkable day, the Kansas Senate passed a resolution recognizing February 5th, 2025, as Early Learning Advocacy Day. Our Executive Director, Tanya Bulluck, had the honor of being on the Senate Floor, representing Child Start and our mission to ensure that every child has access to high-quality early learning opportunities. We know that when we work together—community leaders, educators, and lawmakers—we can create lasting change.
