Following a webinar appearance last month for the U.S. Department of Education about techniques in the blending and braiding of funding for kids, our founder and CEO Elizabeth Gaines was invited to speak in-person this week at the department’s 2024 Promise Neighborhoods and Full-Service Community Schools National Network Conference, along with our friends from StriveTogether and Poughkeepsie Children's Cabinet! The plenary aimed to “demonstrate the power of aligning People, Data, and Money around a community-wide vision for children and youth, through the real-life example of Poughkeepsie, NY … formed in 2019 to create and coordinate a cradle-to-career system of supports, define and track progress towards clear priority outcomes, and develop a strategic public financing plan for getting there.” Learn more about the inspiring work happening in Poughkeepsie: https://ow.ly/R6a750Uppa2
