We’re thrilled to announce the inaugural winner of the CDP Alumni Scholarship, Ashley Hernandez! Inspired by an idea from our Social Service Manager, Emily Cantu to keep motivating our graudates to continue their education, we recently launched a small scholarship to be awarded each year to one former CDP student who is graduating from one of the Passaic High Schools and going on to post-high school studies. Ashley has fond memories of her time at CDP and after graduating from Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools in June, is now pursuing her dreams at Monmouth University majoring in Business Administration. She embodies the spirit of growth and determination that Children’s Day seeks to foster.
