CHIPOLBROK AMERICA INC – was established in 2004 in Houston as a wholly owned subsidiary and exclusive representative of CHIPOLBROK (Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company Ltd) in the Americas. “CHIPOLBROK” owns and operates a fleet of 31 modern multi-purpose vessels and provides regular sea transportation services between the continents of Asia, North and Central Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, India, and Australia. The company's fleet and extent of business are continuously growing. CHIPOLBROK AMERICA INC - as a general agent for CHIPOLBROK, is heavily involved in cargo canvassing and booking for all trade lines, as well as providing vessel port operation coordination and supervision in the North American continent, including in-house ship husbandry services in Houston, Galveston, Port Arthur, and Corpus Christi. The event was filled with positive energy and a friendly atmosphere, showcasing the flourishing Polish-American friendship. Even was opened by Art Dunal - president of PolChamTX - Polish American Chamber of Commerce in Texas Two outstanding individuals were honored this year: Professor Waldemar Priebe, a well-known and highly successful scientist, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his groundbreaking contributions to cancer research and his dedication to promoting both Poland and the United States of America. Many thanks to Professor Jim Mazurkiewicz, who introduced the awardee and provided a heartfelt testimonial. The Entrepreneur of the Year Award was granted to Mr. Maciej Baginski, who established and developed a successful consulting company in Austin, Texas. The award was presented by Capt. Slawomir Piankowski The evening also featured several notable speakers: Mr. Jim Szczesniak, MBA, A.A.E, who provided an update on Houston Airport. Mr. Terry Zubek, representing Governor Greg Abbott’s office, who provided an updated on Texas Economy and Polish-American trade Polish Consul Mr Aleksander Scirbski. Mrs. Thalia Kruger - who provided an update on PolChamTX - Polish American Chamber of Commerce in Texas To cap off the event, we had the great pleasure of taking a photo with Polish astronaut Mr. Slawosz Uznanski, who will soon participate in an upcoming space mission.
