The World Cocoa Foundation recently released the GHG Accounting Methodology for the Cocoa Sector. It includes a series of recommendations for how to integrate remote-sensing data. At Chloris Geospatial, we are excited to support the sector with cutting-edge biomass time series data to monitor both carbon emissions and removals over time. Chloris Geospatial's Aboveground Biomass (AGB) datasets are increasingly being recognised as an excellent option for high-fidelity annual biomass monitoring and as a stocking index for Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation (ARR) projects—particularly for Verra's VM0047 methodology. Cecil's Python SDK provides streamlined access to Chloris's AGB datasets through an API and analytical database. Teams can use a modern SQL database to analyse the following time-series and spatial data at scale: - Annual aboveground biomass stock and change (30 m) - Aboveground biomass stock and change (10 m) Reach out to our team for information on how to get started for free.
