Study Visit at Singapore: A New Journey Begins Once Again 🌍✈️ From September 17th to 19th, 2024, CUSRI, led by Associate Professor Dr. Unruan Leknoi, Director of the Institute, embarked on an exploratory journey to Singapore. Every step of this trip opened doors to fresh ideas that could transform our future. 🌱✨ September 17th: We began our journey by visiting SP Jain School of Global Management, where we received a warm welcome from Diana Lyn David We were introduced to the power of technology, which is revolutionizing education and becoming a bridge to the future, connecting minds and breaking past limitations! 🌐💡 September 18th: A key highlight of our trip was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between CUSRI and SP Jain School of Global Management, with Rashmi Udaykumar(she/her), CEO & Head of Campus, representing SP Jain. This MOU marks the start of a close partnership between the two institutions, particularly in the joint development of short courses with CUSRI Academy. These courses will blend academic excellence with practical applications that can be used in real-world contexts, enhancing lifelong learning for all. Additionally, we had the opportunity to visit Innovate 360, where we were inspired by John Cheng, CEO of Innovate 360, a leader who has revolutionized the food industry by integrating innovation with sustainability. 🌿🍽️ September 19th: The journey continued with a visit to Enabling Village, a place that turns the word "Impossible" into "I'm possible." At the Singtel Innovation Center, we saw how technology is being used to empower people with disabilities, providing them with opportunities to lead equal and self-reliant lives. 💪✨ This visit was a powerful source of inspiration for the development of social innovations at CUSRI, particularly under the Social Innovation Center, which is committed to learning and creating new innovations to foster sustainable social development. Furthermore, we visited the globally renowned National University of Singapore (NUS), one of the world's leading academic institutions. We also explored community-based projects such as Community Centers, which promote local learning and development. The ideas and inspiration gathered during this trip have opened doors to exciting opportunities.
