  • As we celebrate the joy of Christmas, we also pause to express our gratitude for the trust and partnership you’ve placed in Church Extension Plan in 2024. Your support makes it possible to fulfill our shared mission of building the Kingdom of God -- allowing ministries to grow and lives to be transformed. This Christmas, we are inspired by James 1:17 (NIV): “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.” The opportunities to serve and make an impact this year are a reflection of His provision and grace, and we are grateful to journey alongside you in this meaningful work. We invite you to watch the attached Christmas message from our president, Mark Whitney, as he shares his reflections for all we’ve accomplished together. From all of us at Church Extension Plan: Merry Christmas and may the coming year be filled with God’s grace, peace, and blessings.

  • Your church may experience periodic unplanned expenses or events that affect cash flow. Equipment fails, pastors retire or resign, missionaries request support, and so on. However, as members of God’s Kingdom, we don’t live in fear of what may be lurking around the corner. Instead, we must use wisdom in preparing for unexpected events and expenses. This begs the question, “How much should your church have in savings?” Read more at https://lnkd.in/gnJ74bm6. #ChurchExtensionPlan #ChurchFinances

  • ICYMI... The Bible teaches us that pastors are God’s gift to the church (Ephesians 4:11-12). Although the church as a whole is expected to care for a pastor, most churches delegate that stewardship to the church board. The 10 options outlined in this article are excerpted from the book, Stewarding the Future, by Gene Roncone, Network Superintendent for the Rocky Mountain Ministry Network and CEP’s own Darren Mullenix, CFP®, ChFC®.
