Meet Annalie, a speech therapist in public schools and a member of our Class of 2022!
We asked her a few questions about her CCF experience, and here's what she had to say:
What is a fond memory you have of CCF?
It would be impossible for me to pick a single memory from CCF. Collectively, my fondest memories of CCF center on connection and collaboration as we learned more about ourselves, each other, our city, and the mission of God.
What is something you learned during CCF that has stuck with you?
CCF taught me about the importance of spiritual disciplines and ways to integrate them into my personal life and work life. Since the fellowship, breath prayers are an essential part of my daily rhythm.
How did CCF change how you approach your work? What about your relationship with God?
CCF changed my life in ways I never could’ve imagined. Professionally, CCF helped me recognize issues in my workplace. Since the fellowship, I joined the leadership team at work so I can invite others to participate in building a more loving and inclusive community. Personally, I experienced a new understanding of God. It has been very healing for me to grow in relationship to God as my good, loving Parent.
If someone is thinking about donating financially to CCF, what would you tell them?
Donations allowed me to participate in this fellowship program that changed my life in the best way possible. I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to learn and grow with incredible people who are passionate about the mission of God.
