We're looking for an Executive Director for the Citizen Complaint Authority (CCA)! The City of Cincinnati is seeking a visionary and highly skilled leader to serve as the Executive Director of CCA. This critical role is an opportunity to drive accountability, transparency, and trust between law enforcement and the community. As the CCA Director, you will: ✅ Oversee investigations into citizen complaints, including excessive force, improper firearm pointing, unreasonable searches and seizures, and allegations of discrimination within the Cincinnati Police Department ✅ Lead inquiries into serious incidents such as shots fired and in-custody deaths ✅ Identify patterns in officer conduct and policy execution, providing data-driven recommendations to city leadership ✅ Engage with law enforcement, city leadership, and the community to promote positive, constructive dialogue ✅ Ensure compliance with NACOLE best practices while overseeing budgeting and financial reporting ✅ Navigate complex political environments and foster initiatives that build public trust The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and proven leader with a deep understanding of law enforcement practices, strong political acumen, and exceptional communication skills.
