Emma Knutson joined the City of Eagan this summer as the Communications and Digital Intern! A senior at St. Olaf College majoring in Film and Media Studies and Sociology/Anthropology, Emma has thrived in a role filled with a variety of creative projects. She has worked closely with the Communications Team and Eagan Television, gaining hands-on experience in video production, content writing, web development, and social media content creation. Her role allowed her to hone her storytelling skills, helping to tell the stories of the City and community both internally and externally. Emma learned the importance of attention to detail and effective stakeholder collaboration. She notes, “This internship taught me how to integrate diverse perspectives and creative skills to produce content that meets client goals and aligns with organizational branding. I’ve loved the variety of projects—every day brought something new and exciting.” Outside of work, she enjoys trying new recipes and spending time outdoors around the lakes in Minneapolis! #CityOfEagan #TeamEagan
