Big thanks to City of Germantown, TN Mayor Mike Palazzolo, Town of Collierville Mayor Maureen Fraser, and their teams for touring Regional One Health. They saw first-hand the need to modernize and rebuild our region’s only public hospital.

We’re excited to welcome Jacob to the team! A Memphis native, Jacob attended St. Benedict at Auburndale before earning a BA in History from Christian Brothers University. His career has been rooted in education and youth development, starting as a counselor at the Salvation Army Kroc Center and later taking on leadership roles. Most recently, Jacob taught at De La Salle Elementary (now Compass Community Schools), where he worked with students in PE, middle school social studies, and 4th and 5th grade math and science. Beyond work, Jacob is a proud dad to two wonderful daughters, and together they enjoy family adventures. When not with family, Jacob loves cooking, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, following the Chicago Cubs, and challenging himself with CrossFit. What excites Jacob most about this next step is the opportunity to reconnect with Germantown—a place close to his heart, from childhood memories with his mom to playing GYAA baseball. Jacob is eager to bring his passion for athletics and youth development back to the community and make a meaningful impact. Welcome aboard Jacob Lawrence!

Sometimes, the best meetings are the ones that involve a wagging tail! Today, the City of Germantown, TN Engineering Department took part in the Snout & About program, where city departments can check out a shelter dog for the day to give them social time and a well-deserved break from the shelter. Meet Jimmy, a lovable terrier mix who spent the day exploring City Hall, meeting new friends (both two- and four-legged), and even squeezing in a quick nap before heading back. He was the perfect office guest and an absolute joy to have around! Jimmy is still looking for his forever home. If you're looking for a friendly, social pup to add to your family, check out his adoption profile here: https://lnkd.in/e-Ksiesq A huge thank you to Germantown Animal Shelter for this amazing program—our team had just as much fun as Jimmy did! #AdoptDontShop #SnoutAndAbout #GermantownTN #DogAdoption #CityHallPup
