    𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗗𝗚𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗖𝗨𝗔𝗧𝗘 The City of Oldsmar officially launched it's Pledge to Evacuate campaign during the recent Hurricane Expo. One of the elements unveiled at the event was a video the city produced, featuring Mike Boylan with Mike's Weather Page. Mike shares various scenarios that explain why it's important to have a plan in place and evacuate when ordered.   • Council/Manager Award At the recent City Council meeting, Oldsmar Mayor Dan Saracki presented the Council/Manager Award to Oldsmar resident Rhonda Dunkley. The award recognizes her post-hurrican volunteer efforts, including coordinate relief efforts for our community. Congratulations!

  • COASTAL SERVICES – HOLIDAY SCHEDULE Reminder – Coastal Services will not provide solid waste or recycling services on Thanksgiving (Thurs, Nov 28). Solid waste will be collected on the next scheduled service day. Recycling not picked up on Thanksgiving will be collected on Friday. Those serviced on the Friday route will be serviced on Saturday. If you applied to FEMA after Hurricane Debby or Helene and have additional damage from Hurricane Milton, you will need to apply separately for Milton and provide the dates of your most recent damage. FEMA may be able to help residents with immediate serious needs, temporary lodging expenses and rental assistance. Residents can apply at DisasterAssistance.gov, using the FEMA app or at 1-800-621-3362. Help is available in most languages. If you use a video relay service, captioned telephone service, or other communication services, please provide FEMA the specific number assigned for that service. View more information.   • DEBRIS REMINDER Normal pickup of bulk items by Coastal commenced in early November. Please remember it is IMPORTANT to follow their guidelines for bulk & vegetation debris. If more than 2 cubic yards of bulk solid waste is placed curbside, household solid waste will be prioritized, with excess picked up as soon as possible. Vegetation debris should be placed in curbside containers & will be collected with solid waste pickup. If yard waste is too large for the container, it should be cut into sections no more than 4-ft long, no more than 6” in diameter, bundled & placed curbside.
