This Thanksgiving, we are incredibly grateful for our partners, supporters, and volunteers. 💙 Your kindness helps bring hope and comfort to those who need it most. But today, as many of us gather with loved ones, we also remember that thousands of persons experiencing homelessness won’t be enjoying a Thanksgiving meal with family or friends. Our work is far from over; CITYPAK is committed to continuing to make a difference. Let’s keep spreading hope, support, and compassion this holiday season. 🍂🙏 #Thanksgiving #GiveHope #CITYPAKCommunity

Each November, the Salvation Army Greater New York Division helps struggling New Yorkers by hosting special Thanksgiving meals for its unhoused neighbors, serving over 1000 neighbors in need at their 14th Street location alone. SBK and CITYPAK are proud to contribute again to this year’s event - donating over 500 CITYPAKs to be distributed - alongside coats, gloves and toiletries - during the meal on Thanksgiving day, this holiday season and throughout the year. 📸: Thanks to @salvationarmyny

"We held a successful distribution event where our neighbors experiencing homelessness filled their packs with essential toiletries, self-care items, and snacks. It was heartwarming to assist them in opening their packs and showcasing the thoughtful features designed for their needs. Our kitchen manager noted the positive conversations outside about the backpacks. Some packs will be delivered to our other shelters around the North Shore of Boston. We'll be hosting another event in December, offering items tailored for the cold. Thank you, CITYPAK, for partnering with organizations like ours to care for some of our most vulnerable community members." - Laura Madison - Founder, LifeBridge Backpack Program
