I love opportunities to toss out the old ways—those self-inflicted burdens, we carry in #GovCon. Today, I have a wild idea that I want to share openly with you, the CivicActions' Partner Playbook. This one-page playbook complements a teaming agreement. It builds a friendship among teaming companies by offering a touchstone of balance, openness and care. Teaming among companies historically has been shadowed in secrets (even among companies on the same team) with bids crammed on nights and weekends. And post-award, the competitive shadow still remains, jealousies are born or partnerships are conveniently forgotten. Negative teaming breeds self-inflicted stress and doesn’t serve us, our families or our public clients. What if we simply helped each other out? So, by sharing the Partner Playbook in our #open practices aligned with furthering #DigitalPublicGoods, CivicActions is inviting fellow gov sellers to show up like we do.
