Last month, Clackamas County District Attorney John Wentworth was officially sworn in after successfully winning his re-election campaign. As part of the ceremony, he swore in all of the deputy district attorneys. This was the last swearing-in ceremony at the Clackamas County Courthouse, which was built in 1936 in downtown Oregon City, before the replacement courthouse opens on the Red Soils campus in Oregon City later this year. DA Wentworth expressed his gratitude to the team of deputy district attorneys who carry out the often difficult work related to the criminal justice system, part of the reason why the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office won the Top Workplace Award last year from The Oregonian.
