After a week of celebrating #WorldSustainabilityDay, we’re proud to highlight our partnership with Clayton in an exciting reforestation initiative at the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve! Together, we’re planting over 60,000 trees as part of a broader commitment to plant 4.47 million trees by 2025. This innovative reclamation project aims to restore native forests on former coal mine lands, enhancing biodiversity and combating invasive species in the area. On days like World Sustainability Day, we’re extra grateful for partners like Clayton, helping us drive impact, drive scale and plant trees in forests and neighborhoods of greatest need. This work helps us change lives for people across the planet 🌳

Thank you to Family Promise, Inc for hosting Clayton at its National Conference! It was an honor to be recognized alongside fellow Family Promise affiliates who are making a tremendous impact to address family homelessness across the country.
Tuesday was an event-filled day at our National Conference! ⭐️ - Family Promise CEO Cheryl Schuch spoke to Conference attendees about the impact we’re making in communities across the country and the need to expand and optimize our services going forward. - Attendees began attending workshops! - We awarded our longtime partner, Clayton, the inaugural Karen Olson Impact Award. ➡ When Karen Olson founded Family Promise, she kickstarted a movement that positively impacts the lives of tens of thousands of families each year. Clayton is ensuring we continue that impact. Since our partnership began in 2019, Clayton and partners inspired by their giving have helped over 25,000 families across the country and greatly bolstered our homelessness prevention services. - Family Promise’s board chair, Betsy Bernard, thanked attendees for their impactful work around the country and introduced the evening's inspirational keynote speaker, Liz Murray (pictured with Cheryl in the third photo).

On this National Public Lands Day, we’re proud to highlight how Clayton is making a meaningful difference through our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation. At Clayton, we firmly believe that we can “do good” on a large scale by trusting our partners to excel in their areas of expertise. That’s why we support the Arbor Day Foundation, enabling them to collaborate with local organizations like Green Forests Work to carry out hands-on tree planting. An exciting initiative is the legacy coal mine reforestation project, which focuses on restoring old strip coal mines across West Virginia and Kentucky, including the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority National Park and Preserve. This project helps rehabilitate historically impacted lands while fostering healthier ecosystems and communities. We are joining other partners in this project because we know to do good on a large scale, we need other organizations that want to make an impact. The collaboration between Clayton and Arbor Day has resulted in more than 4.2 million trees planted and more than 8,900 acres of public lands restored since 2022. Today, as we celebrate the importance of public lands, we’re reminded of the vital role they play in providing clean air, clean water and recreational spaces for everyone. Our collaboration with the Arbor Day Foundation and Green Forests Work demonstrates that together, we can achieve more and create lasting positive impacts. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gtkDDUH3
