CLEAN FOR ALL Inspired by co-founder Isaac Shapiro’s mother, who lost her eyesight as a child, we launched Brands with Braille to incorporate functional Braille on product packaging to help blind and low vision individuals lead more independent lives. A portion of all Cleanlogic’s sales go to organizations supporting the visually impaired. I just came across some insights from the 2024 Disability Equality Index, and it’s got me thinking. This tool is such a valuable benchmark for how companies are doing with disability inclusion, and while we’re making progress, there’s still work to be done. The good news? 71% of companies are ensuring their digital products are accessible—a big jump from 64% last year. The not-so-good news? Only 11% of companies have an openly disabled director on their boards. Accessibility is crucial, but representation in leadership? That’s where real change happens. So, how do we move the needle here? What steps can we take to push for more inclusive leadership at the highest levels? Last night’s VIP event in NYC was incredible! Big thanks to the team at retailmediaIQ: Mark Deuschle, Jeffrey Friedman, David Pinto for making the first night of the pop up store a success. Congratulations on the hard work you put into it and allowing us to be a part of this event. Enjoyed talking to consumers and hearing their positive feedback about our exfoliating products and purchase to employ message to employ individuals with disabilities. This event wasn’t just about informing consumers about Cleanlogic's great products, but about continuing the conversation on why we add Braille to packaging and breaking barriers for people with disabilities. If you couldn’t make it, come visit us at our pop-up at 242 Elizabeth Street! Not only will you get a free Cleanlogic facial buffer, there are many amazing brands giving out free product to samples!
