Building a 3D home and crafting a resume share several key similarities: Foundation and Structure: Just like a 3D-printed home begins with a strong foundation, a resume starts with a clear structure, focusing on the most important sections such as experience, skills, and education. Both require careful planning to ensure that the foundation supports the overall design and purpose. Precision and Customization: 3D home printing involves precise technology to create a structure tailored to specific needs and site conditions. Similarly, a resume must be customized to highlight relevant experiences and skills that align with the job you're applying for. Precision in language and focus ensures that your resume effectively communicates your strengths. Efficiency and Innovation: 3D printing a house reduces time and waste, making the process more efficient. Crafting a resume efficiently means conveying the most important information in a concise and impactful way. Innovative formatting and design can help your resume stand out, just as advanced technology distinguishes 3D-printed homes. Sustainability and Adaptability: Just as 3D homes use sustainable materials and can adapt to different environments, a resume should reflect your adaptability and how you’ve grown professionally. It should be a living document that evolves as your career does, showcasing your ongoing development and achievements. Final Touches and Aesthetic Appeal: The final stages of 3D home construction involve adding the finishing touches that make the house livable and appealing. Similarly, a resume’s layout, design, and wording are the finishing touches that make it professional and attractive to recruiters. Luyten is also expanding its reach globally. They are planning to use their proprietary Ultimatecrete concrete mix to print homes in North America. Ultimatecrete is an eco-friendly material designed to reduce cement usage, thus lowering the environmental impact of construction. This move aligns with their broader mission to address housing affordability and efficiency challenges through innovative 3D printing solutions. In both cases, whether constructing a home or a resume, the goal is to create something solid, functional, and tailored to specific needs that will stand out and serve its purpose effectively.

Most of you know that the past year has been very challenging for me. Planning a large move and a remodel has taken time away from LinkedIn. After our recent move to Maui, I've been actively interviewing with several companies due to a significant slowdown in business. This transition does not mean I'm stepping away from LinkedIn, but it might lead to less frequent activity on my part. I want to clarify that this shift doesn't reflect a failure as a business owner. Rather, it’s a strategic decision in response to new circumstances. Since relocating, I've noticed a significant drop in engagement on LinkedIn's Service Marketplace. Previously, I averaged 30+ inquiries daily, but that number has now reduced to about five. LinkedIn told me it’s because I moved and that’s why I’m getting fewer proposals to submit to potential clients. I have spoke to more than a few coaches that are feeling the same hit and won’t be able to survive in Service Marketplace stays the same as it is today. Does LinkedIn understand it’s hurting our business or do they care?? I have counted on LinkedIn’s Service Marketplace since 2019 and maybe it’s my fault for having all my eggs in one basket. ➡️ Fill out this form Coaches and let’s make a difference: LinkedIn Product Group Feedback: https://lnkd.in/gNzpwuR9 Consequently, converting enough business to sustain my livelihood has become increasingly challenging. I normally help 8-10 new clients a week and it’s down considerably. I appreciate the ongoing support from my LinkedIn network and remain committed to sharing insights and engaging with the community, albeit less frequently for the time being. I don’t ever want you to see change as failure. I never want to doubt your decisions if you are doing them for all of the right decisions. ➡️ Maybe if we can come together we can get the attention of #linkedin LinkedIn and they can look into this for us. Please consider sharing this with your network to bring change and help all of the coaches on LinkedIn.
