Introducing the IKI Fellows: An exciting new chapter in the evolution of the IKI Network! In partnership with the Clifton Strengths Institute at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, nine juniors and seniors have been selected for a one-year program fostering connection and collaboration with purpose-driven leaders. These campus leaders are Clifton Builders, natural change makers who are willing to take on challenges when others might back away. They have a natural inclination to create something where nothing existed with their entrepreneurial zeal and demonstrated leadership capabilities. IKI Fellows will identify and support purpose-driven initiatives that align with the Japanese concept of ikigai with an emphasis on their unique strengths-based experience as Gen Z leaders. Last Thursday, a group of soon-to-be graduates from the Clifton Builders program spent the afternoon at the People City Mission distribution center. They learned about the organization, the vital role of volunteers, and the impact of this nonprofit. In 2023, the People City Mission donated nearly 1.5 million items of clothing and household goods to members of the Lincoln community.

As we approach the milestone of graduation, we are excited to celebrate the 22 Clifton Builder graduates set to embark on their next journey. Each one of these students has solidified post-graduation plans, ranging from full-time employment to law & graduate school. Our builders will span across the US in NE, KS, TX, NY, IL & FL. Last Friday, 30 of our student coaches took a day trip down to K-State for the first-ever Student Strengths Conference! Here, our students were able to connect and learn from other student coaches and strengths enthusiasts from the Kansas-Nebraska area. Additionally, a couple of our coaches were invited to facilitate breakout sessions with topics ranging from well-being to personal branding through strengths! Thanks so much to our friends down at K-State for hosting such an incredible event! Our coaches consistently invest and develop others throughout their work as a coach and in their daily lives, so we are so appreciative of the opportunity to provide them a dedicated day to really invest in themselves! We can't wait for next year's conference!
