I am delighted to share that I have graduated with a Master of Engineering in Natural Risk Management from the University of Genoa, earning the full grade of 110/110 with honors. My thesis, titled "Wildfire Risk Mapping and Climate Projections," was an exciting exploration of the intersection between wildfire risk assessment and climate change impacts in the Catalonia region of Spain. This achievement would not have been possible without the exceptional guidance of Professor Andrea Trucchia, whose expertise, mentorship, and constant support were invaluable throughout this journey. The research was conducted in collaboration with the CIMA Research Foundation as part of the EU Horizon project CLIMAAX, with a part of the project completed during my internship at CIMA. I appreciate CIMA Research Foundation for giving me this opportunity and providing the environment. A portion of this work was presented at the Mediterranean Geosciences Union (MedGU-24) annual meeting in Barcelona, Spain, held from 25 to 28 November 2024. These findings will soon be published. This milestone marks a significant step forward in my academic and professional journey, and I am eager to continue making contributions to the field of natural risk management, with a focus on wildfire risk.

We are delighted to announce CARE_X, our new collaboration with the Municipality of Xanthi as part of the European CLIMAAX project. The project aims to utilize the Climaax methodology and Toolkit to assess climate risks at local and regional levels. Xanthi, with its diverse landscape and rich cultural heritage, faces significant challenges due to climate change, such as extreme weather events, floods, and heat waves.
