With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it's important to reflect on the true history behind this day. The story taught about Thanksgiving is an outright lie, and it erases the painful history of genocide, colonization, and land theft from Indigenous peoples. This false narrative impacts how we view and honor Native communities to this day. Many Indigenous communities refer to this Thursday as the “Day of Mourning” and it’s time to face this reality and rethink how we celebrate. Let's use Thursday to center Indigenous voices, reflect on history, and take action. Climate justice means Indigenous justice! THURSDAY IS GIVE TO THE MAX DAY! A conservative senator recently targeted us for our work in climate education. The stories we tell shape our reality, and it’s time to tell the story of resilience and justice! At Climate Generation, we know that education is the most powerful tool against the climate crisis. This Give to the Max Day, help us reach our $50,000 goal to uplift voices that matter. Your support can change the narrative and motivate our youth. Let’s do this together! https://bit.ly/30HYGLq

Under the newly elected administration we will likely leave the UNFCCC and Paris Agreement and as a nation become hostile to climate mitigation and adaption efforts. We know climate education is under attack, and recently a certain conservative senator from Texas attacked our organization… But we aren’t going to stop what we do. That's why at Climate Generation, we combine education with action to ignite and inspire educators, youth, and community to act on systems perpetuating the climate crisis. We've done so much this year, and we plan to continue our work next year. Our goal is to raise $50,000 this Give to the Max Day to ensure that climate justice education reaches every corner of our communities. Your contribution is vital to sustaining this movement. Donate now and be part of the solution! https://bit.ly/30HYGLq
