Proseguono le attività del progetto Horizon Europe ClimateSmartAdvisors! 🇮🇹 Lo scorso 9 ottobre si è svolto il secondo incontro della CoP (Community of Practice), presso la sede Apo Conerpo, legata all’utilizzo sostenibile delle risorse irrigue in agricoltura! L’incontro realizzato in collaborazione con esperti di Netafim Italia, azienda leader nel mondo delle tecnologie irrigue, e che coinvolge all’interno del gruppo di lavoro tecnici ed esperti di FederBio Servizi Srl e del Ordine dei dottori agronomi e dei dottori forestali - CONAF è stato incentrato sulle ultime tecnologie impiantistiche irrigue nel mondo ortofrutticolo. Particolare attenzione è stata posta su pero, kiwi, melo e pomodoro da industria, in un’ottica di sostenibilità ambientale, con l’obiettivo di ridurre al minimo gli sprechi della risorsa idrica e di massimizzare le produzioni, sempre con un occhio alla qualità dei prodotti, il tutto per portare un miglioramento dei servizi di consulenza offerti. 🇬🇧 On Wednesday 9 October, the second meeting of the CoP (Community of Practice), linked to the sustainable use of irrigation resources in agriculture, took place at the Apo Conerpo headquarters! The meeting, held in collaboration with experts from Netafim Italia, a leading company in the world of irrigation technologies, and involving technicians and experts from FederBio Servizi Srl and the Ordine dei dottori agronomi e dei dottori forestali - CONAF was focused on the latest irrigation system technologies in the fruit and vegetable world. Particular attention has been given to pear, kiwi, apple and industrial tomato, with a view to environmental sustainability, with the aim of minimizing waste of water resources and maximizing production, always with an eye on the quality of the products, all to bring an improvement in the advisory services offered. #ApoConerpo #ClimateSmartAdvisor #CommunityofPractice #sustainability #watermanagement

Si è tenuto ieri il secondo incontro del progetto ClimateSmartAdvisors. Il tema della giornata è stato quella della sostenibilità ambientale degli allevamenti. Simona Caselli, Presidente della Cooperativa Granlatte Soc. Coop. Agricola - Granarolo group, ha illustrato il percorso intrapreso dal gruppo per aumentare la sostenibilità ambientale dei suoi prodotti. La dott.ssa Caselli ha spiegato ciò che la Cooperativa sta mettendo in pratica a partire dagli allevamenti, passando per le lavorazioni, per arrivare al cliente finale. Alcuni esempi sono stati l’adozione di pratiche per il benessere animale in stalla, la realizzazione di impianti di biodigestione anaerobica, riduzione degli sprechi nella GDO, flotta aziendale a basso impatto ambientale e le certificazioni ambientali del gruppo. L’intervento successivo è stato quello della ricercatrice del CRPA Arianna Pignagnoli che ha spiegato come viene realizzata un’indagine di sostenibilità aziendale partendo dai dati aziendali per arrivare all’indicatore finale. In particolare, sono stati illustrati i risultati del GOI PR Green Deal e del progetto europeo mEATquality, che hanno dato origine ad un confronto molto utile per i consulenti. A conclusione della giornata è stato fissato l’obiettivo della visita successiva. The theme of the day was the environmental sustainability of livestock farms. The President of the Granlatte, Simona Caselli, illustrated the path undertaken by the group to increase the environmental sustainability of its products. Dott.ssa Caselli explained what the cooperative is putting into practice starting from the farms, passing through the processing and arriving at the end customer. Some examples were the construction of anaerobic biodigestion plants, waste reduction in the large-scale retail trade, a company fleet with low environmental impact, and the group's environmental certifications. The next speaker was CRPA researcher Arianna Pignagnoli who explained how a corporate sustainability survey is carried out, starting from company data to arrive at the final indicator. In particular, two projects, PR Green Deal and Meat quality were illustrated, which resulted in a very useful discussion for the consultants. Good illustration of initiatives in Canada, Netherlands and South Africa on indicators, tools and how enhancing biodiversity. A good opportunity to remind that sustainable transition must integrate impacts reduction and ecosystem services improvement. The analysis of the 12 250 dairy farms assessed with CAP’2ER well illustrate the need in ☑️ Holistic approach considering climate, water, air, biodiversity, soils fertility… and adaptation to CC ☑️ Whole farm analysis for facilitating circularity -         …. The agroecological transition i.e. regenerative agriculture transition i.e. sustainable transition is on a good track in dairy thanks to numerous initiatives in EU Climate Farm Demo ClimateSmartAdvisors and at global scale CNIEL Institut de l'Elevage (idele)
