🌞 Navigating Energy Standards & Building Compliance with Off-Site Solar In a recent Colorado Real Estate Journal article, our own Eleanor Zwart highlights off-site solar as an efficient, compliance-friendly solution for building owners facing building performance standards. Off-site solar provides a flexible, cost-effective solution for properties unable to install their own systems or if an on-site system just doesn't make sense. With new Colorado laws allowing off-site solar access, building owners can stabilize expenses and meet sustainability goals without upfront capital inveestments. Discover how off-site solar is transforming energy compliance strategies in Colorado. https://lnkd.in/giud2Hqv

This summer, we had the privilege of collaborating with the bright minds of the CU Boulder Masters of the Environment (MENV) Graduate Program on their capstone project. Their focus? Agrivoltaics – an innovative approach that combines agriculture and solar energy production, maximizing land use efficiency and supporting a sustainable future. 🌾⚡ Our MENV students have made tremendous strides in exploring the potential of agrivoltaics to create a win-win solution for both farmers and renewable energy advocates. Through rigorous research, stakeholder engagement, and innovative thinking, they have demonstrated how solar facilities can be strategically integrated into agricultural landscapes to optimize crop yield, reduce water usage, and generate clean energy. Their work not only aligns with Cloudbreak Energy's mission to drive renewable energy innovation but also highlights the power of collaboration between industry and academia to address complex environmental challenges. We are incredibly proud of their dedication, creativity, and passion for sustainability. A huge thank you to these future leaders in environmental science for their hard work and impactful contributions. 🌍👏 Lindsey Johnson, Bailie Shultz, Corrine Weaver, and Matthew Boltansky Let's continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in renewable energy! #Agrivoltaics #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #FutureLeaders #MENV #CleanEnergy #Innovation #CloudbreakEnergy #CollaborativeImpact #ClimateAction
