CloudFIx Finder/Fixers use AWS' tooling to address this. In particular, AWS Systems Manager Change Manger. This tool allows infrastructure changes to be described in a straightforward JSON file. The ONLY change CloudFix can make to your account is to create a Change Manger runbook. This goes into your Systems Manager Change Manager (yeah, the word 'manager' occurs a lot here) Console. Systems Manager Change Manger can be customized with approval flows, so you can make sure that resource-owners can approve changes that CloudFix suggests. Using this approach, all of CloudFix's suggestions are in one place. It does need hooks all over your account. You can see EXACTLY what is going to happen. And, since we are using AWS native tooling for the change management, you can integrate this into your other change management process and approval flows.
