Our Organic Eggnog is fresh off the production line and hitting grocery stores throughout California! This is one of our longest and favorite Clover Sonoma traditions. Fun fact: to make sure our eggnog is the best on the shelf, we install temporary specialized nozzles on our milk-filling machines every holiday season to allow the thicker eggnog and specks of nutmeg to flow easily into the cartons.

"We never thought we’d be making political ads, but when an activist group submitted a ballot measure that would outlaw organic, multigenerational, American Humane Certified family farms based on the number of cows they have, we knew we had to communicate our opposition on our cartons,” said Michael Benedetti, senior director of sustainability, quality and regulatory at Clover Sonoma. Clover Sonoma will always stand by its family farms that uphold the highest standards of quality and animal care in the industry. There is no question - this ballot measure would irreparably damage Sonoma County’s vibrant food system that has helped feed California for generations. More from Michael in the San Francisco Chronicle below. https://lnkd.in/e5V8xa4P

Anaerobic digesters break down animal waste with a zero-carbon footprint, which can then be reused as fertilizer or for other uses. As more dairies adopt this equipment across the US, one of Clover Sonoma’s partner dairies already uses this process to reduce their carbon-footprint with more preparing to in the future. Take a look at our pinned post for a closer look at the dairies that continue to raise our high sustainability standards. https://lnkd.in/ev9dJ8kA
