    Last night was special. As we wrapped up an incredibly productive #Money2020, Coast hosted our inaugural dinner for our champions, clients, partners, & friends in the industry… And I don’t know how else to describe it. It was just special. Overcome with gratitude for this community we’re building, and for the friends and clients (early, new, and soon-to-be!) that are helping us build something special. I loved what Spencer Levitt closed with last night in saying that at Coast “we’re building for you all. Quite literally, our mission is to bring yours to life.” It really is.     “I’ve felt this pain for my entire career, and I didn’t know that I had other options before Coast.     🎉 ANNOUNCEMENT 🎉 I am BEYOND thrilled to be joining Coast, at a very exciting time of growth for the company, as the Head of Strategic Accounts! For those of you that know me, you know this has been a very thoughtful process and pursuit. I’ve loved working this last decade to help scale two great tech companies: first at Built, joining in the early days with <20 employees, and then as VP of Business Development and Chief of Staff at MX during a time of hyper growth. My experience in fintech has shown me that APIs power our entire world. From sending money to a friend, to verifying your identity, or even the promo discount texts you get from your favorite store - APIs are the connective technology powering our digital experiences... No app, no UI, no interface. What are you supposed to show potential customers? 🤷♀️ Coast turns API documentation into interactive product demos specifically built for sales and marketing teams. Instead of showing prospects pages of API docs, sales teams can demo exactly what their product can do for that customer specifically . 🎦 It’s been a game-changer for Orum, saving us loads of time and money. 🤑 B2B infrastructure can be a challenging story to tell, and in the beginning, we were mocking up screenshots on Figma in an effort to create something that would work. 🤦♀️ We were spending inordinate amounts of time on these mockups, and they had to be different for each customer. Enter Coast. 🥳 Suddenly, we could create demo experiences quickly, easily, and tailored precisely to our customers. 🎉 It’s a physical, tangible manifestation of how valuable our product is, and our prospect gets a real sense of how it will work for them.     How do you demo a product that requires an integration…before it’s even integrated? For Finch, an API platform that unifies access to employment data, this was a daily challenge. Solutions Engineers would go through an endless pre-demo checklist ahead of customer demos. A combination of Postman, whiteboarding, documentation, Finch Connect, custom apps, and dashboards all needed to work together flawlessly to ensure a successful demo. But first impressions with a product are everything and 100% uptime is a non-negotiable. These demos can’t fail. Localhost errors, expired API keys, redirect issues, and downtime simply can’t be tolerated. We spoke to Jeremy Zhang (CEO, Co-Founder at Finch), Erik Demaree (VP of Revenue) and Tyler Nix (Founding Solutions Engineer) about the team’s partnership with Coast to build out API demos. Now the team reports making “Coast demos for 100% of calls and seeing 100% uptime.” As CEO and Co-Founder, Jeremy Zhang puts it, “At Finch, we view demos that showcase our APIs as an extension of our core product suite.
