While they may look dormant, their roots are still active and need care: ✅ Mulch for Protection: Spread 2-4 inches of mulch around the base of your trees (but keep it a few inches away from the trunk). Mulch helps insulate roots, retain moisture, and prevent temperature fluctuations. 💧 Water During Dry Spells: Even in winter, trees need water, especially young or newly planted ones.
