So honored 😀 😀 😀💪🎉 have the opportunity to speak with Governor Josh Shapiro, we had an incredible conversation about CoCarting and the future of shopping! 🌍 I shared with him CoCarting is a new way to shop, chat, and socialize with friends and family across distances, bridging the gap and helping to reduce loneliness. With CoCarting, we can make shopping not only more social but also more sustainable. Last year, $743 billion in online returns resulted in 9.5 billion pounds of waste in landfills, and we know that 30% of those returns could be avoided by shopping together for getting a second opinion. I also shared with Governor Shapiro the challenges minority female founders face in fundraising. Last year, 0.48% of minority female founder got raided fund from all founder that raise fund. What, not even 1% yet. Why, 🧐? I asked for his support in creating an investor ecosystem that uplifts and funds early-stage startups like ours. His focus on helping small businesses which increase 30% of new registry businesses Now I am asking him to looking into minority female facing unfair fundraising challenges—he's a true leader and great listener. I’m excited to continue this conversation and see the action that follows. I want to share my experience with the WIT (Women in Tech) Mentoring Program, an inspiring 7-month initiative designed to bridge the gap between current tech professionals and the bright, aspiring young women who represent the future of our industry. As part of the TCCP (The Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania) mentor, I had the incredible opportunity to spend meaningful time with the students from Penn State University, who are just beginning to carve their paths in the tech world. Through virtual group meetings and monthly one-on-one conversations, I shared insights into the invaluable world of networking, aiming to empower these young mentees with the knowledge and confidence needed to thrive. The experience of being a mentor in this program has been profoundly rewarding. It's an honor to give back, support, and witness the growth of these young women in tech. Their passion, creativity, and determination are truly inspiring, reminding us of the importance of mentorship in fostering the next generation of leaders.
