I’ve finally figured out how to land all the jobs I want, well, for a while at least. Just nod and agree to whatever the project manager (𝚖𝚘𝚜𝚝 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚌𝚎𝚛𝚗𝚎𝚍 𝚊𝚋𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎, 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚚𝚞𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚢) says about scheduling. They’ll be all over you like 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀. Over 10 years ago, probably closer to 15 years, I was offered a possible position at Crestron overseeing their programming services. I was told that those programming services would be outsourced if the internal team could not meet demands, and they never turned down a job.
