What a great morning… The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce County Chamber of Commerce hosted Sonny Perdue, Chancellor of the University System of Georgia and former Governor of Georgia, at our annual Pre-Legislative Breakfast. Chancellor Perdue touched on the importance of these breakfast events with our representatives and how important it is that the Chamber share the priorities of the business community with them. He also touched on the importance of building our workforce and significant role Augusta University will need to play when filling the thousands of healthcare jobs that will be available in the next five to ten years. I am so grateful for the leadership of Chancellor Perdue and his time this morning. I’m also grateful for Mr. @George Snelling for helping book the Chancellor and for making sure he arrived safe and on time. Many thanks to our Presenting sponsor AT&T! I also want to thank our premier sponsors Atlanta Gas Light, Columbia County Board of Commissioners, Georgia Power, Gold Cross EMS, and Snelling Properties; our speaker sponsor Augusta University; our community supporter sponsor Doctors Hospital; and our media sponsor WJBF News Channel 6.
