At Lens on Life, we are deeply honored to work with young Syrians from cities like Raqqa, Daraa, Aleppo, Homs, Qamishli, and Damascus—places that have endured unimaginable hardship yet stand as powerful symbols of strength and hope. Our students, living in refugee camps, use photography to share their stories of resilience, creativity, and unwavering determination. They—and their families and communities—deserve a future free from fear, one filled with peace, dignity, and opportunity. The fall of the Assad regime marks a historic and pivotal moment for Syria, sparking cautious optimism and the hope of a Syria where justice, freedom, and prosperity can truly flourish. As we reflect on this monumental shift, we are reminded of the power of resilience and the beauty of hope—values embodied in the images our students capture. Their photos reflect not just the struggles they’ve endured, but the possibility of a renewed and brighter future for their homeland. Together, let’s support their voices and continue to amplify their stories of transformation and hope.

I’m thrilled to share that The Diversity Org has officially expanded to ASIA! Nine years ago, when I moved from South Asia to the U.S., I wanted to build a life where I would be able to create opportunities for my community. Little did I know that what started as a personal aspiration would grow beyond anything I ever imagined. Our mission has always been to connect low-income youth to high-income careers — and expanding to Asia brings us closer to that vision on a global scale. When we put students in the same room as industry leaders from some of the biggest companies on the planet, we’ve witnessed life-changing moments that ripple far beyond the individual — transforming entire families and communities. We don’t take this responsibility lightly. We understand this work is bigger than any one of us. It takes an incredibly gifted and dedicated team to drive this mission forward. I’m proud of our team who dedicate their lives every day to creating a world where every student has the chance to succeed, regardless of where they come from. Together, we are rewriting what’s possible and we’re excited to #DOMore.

This week, the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem had the extraordinary honor of welcoming A$AP Rocky and Rihanna as part of an incredible commitment by PUMA Group Savage X Fenty and Boys & Girls Clubs of America to invest in the future of our youth. For our young members, seeing leaders like A$AP Rocky—who grew up right here in Harlem—and Rihanna, a global icon, entrepreneur, creative powerhouse, and mom, was nothing short of transformational. But what made this visit truly invaluable was how they engaged and exchanged ideas with our youth members—listening to their dreams, sharing their own journeys, and inspiring them to think big about what’s possible. Their presence reminded us all that success is not just about where you end up; it’s about giving back, being present, and believing in the potential of the next generation.Thank you to PUMA Group Savage X Fenty and Boys & Girls Clubs of America for making moments like these possible—and to A$AP Rocky and Rihanna for showing our kids that their dreams are valid and their voices matter.
