The Master of Science in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program at Columbia University prepares graduates to inform better risk-reward decisions by providing a complete, robust, and integrated picture of both upside and downside volatility across an entire enterprise. The program focuses on all aspects of ERM, including frameworks, risk governance, risk identification, risk quantification, risk-reward decision-making and risk messaging. Graduates gain a dynamic toolkit of advanced risk management skills and approaches that can be applied to enhance value at both the enterprise and silo risk management levels. Graduates also develop the communication skills required to inform and inspire the successful implementation and adoption of ERM strategies.

The winner has been chosen in the Fall 2024 Capital Raising Competition, hosted by the ERM program in association with Castle Placement. The finals of the competition, which was open to current students across all Columbia University School of Professional Studies programs, was broadcast on November 8. Four finalists were chosen, based on new product ideas they submitted earlier. For the finals, the teams played a video showcasing their product, presented their product slides, and then fielded questions from a group of judges. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The winning team, representing Columbia University Technology Management, was ServiceSync. The ERM program congratulates team member Frazier Horn, who presented his idea on an application that could revolutionize the auto repair service industry. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The other finalists were: Adonix Medical ∙ Anne V.
