Understanding and Combatting intersectional discrimination in Housing for people with Migratory background

About us

"Come HoMe" is an EU-funded project aiming to promote equality in cities, with a focus on access to housing for individuals with a migratory background. We are a group of three European cities (Turin, Malta, Thessaloniki) whose aim is to understand the multifaceted nature of housing discrimination experienced by persons with a migratory background, the motivations behind it, the stakeholders involved, and to offer new solutions, incentives, and mediation towards inclusive housing.

Fondazione Impact Housing  SOLIDARITYNOW  Come HoMe

Discussions on housing discrimination often center only on the experiences of those who face it. While these voices are crucial and provide deep insight into the problem, focusing solely on them doesn't allow us to fully grasp the multifaceted nature of housing discrimination and may leave us with mere acknowledgment of the issue without truly addressing it. In this episode, we'll hear from homeowners and real estate agents about their concerns, experiences, and motivations. By understanding their perspectives, we can explore strategies to improve the renting process for individuals with migratory backgrounds and the housing providers themselves. . #housingdiscrimination #inclusion #housingaccess
