This Christmas Day, Adm. James Kilby, Vice Chief of Naval Operations (VCNO), and I had the privilege of speaking with some of our Sailors and Navy civilians around the globe. We are especially grateful to the Sailors standing the watch while forward deployed, ensuring peace and security far from home. Every day, America’s Warfighting Navy is operating below, on, and above the sea to deter aggression defend our national security interests, and preserve our way of life.
