After we got over the awkwardness of that reality, someone decided it would be good to take a picture together. Still one of the projects I’m most proud to have been a part of. We had a great team of individuals from #LRK and #GTG making Tom Shadyach’s vision come to life. I might take my daughter there today actually so she can burn off the energy from eating all her Valentine’s Day candy!

PURE Academy held their north campus ribbon cutting ceremony today. It was incredible to celebrate with Melvin Cole, as well as so many local leaders, as he gave such a powerful image of where he came from and how PURE was birthed out of wanting boys that were just like him to have a better future. This is the true heart of Memphis and PURE is a "beacon of hope" as Mayor Paul Young called it today. We are grateful to play a part in such an incredible initiative in our community and can't wait to see the bright future of PURE academy! Melvin Cole, you are truly an inspiration! What an honor to not only be able to contribute to this event, but also that our very own Laura Meanwell, CCIM had a vision to start this chapter in Memphis! This incredible team, including Haley Lyerly who was also recognized last night for her hard wok and efforts, has worked hard to build the grass roots of this chapter.
