Every Friday we introduce you to one of our members, this week we're introducing you to Eric Moraczewski of NMBL Strategies. Many of you likely know him within his role as a board member of CRA. About Eric: ⚜️ Eric and his wife, Kathryn Moraczewski, co-founded NMBL Strategies in 2019 with an initial focus on working with nonprofits and public-private partnerships through strategic planning, leadership development, and major projects. This stemmed from Eric's work at the Gateway Arch where he led the nonprofit responsible for the largest Public-Private Partnership in National Park Service history. ⚜️ Eric's finance and accounting background prompted Eric Peterson of Spencer Fane LLP to reach out to Eric about assisting in a receivership as an interim CFO for a receivership appointment. Eric and Eric met in grad school at Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School while they were getting their Executive MBA's. ⚜️ Prior to founding NMBL Strategies Eric has had a fascinating career as Executive Director of the Gateway Arch Park Foundation, CEO of FDI Strategies, LLC, CFO of G&A and countless hours of volunteering across a number of organizations. With the Gateway Arch Park Foundation, Eric's deep experience in museum construction (from his time as CFO of G&A) was of critical importance in the $380 million renovation of Gateway Arch National Park and the surrounding area. This extensive background has taken him to work in 22 countries on 4 continents. ⚜️ Eric has spoken on a variety of topics with both the media and at conferences and webinars. You might recognize him from the CRA podcast Navigating Receiverships, or from interviews he has done with CNN, The Wall Street Journal, the St. Louis Business Journal, or from his speaking at conferences for CRA, AIRA-Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors, World Urban Parks, NAFTA, or any other number of places. ⚜️ Eric received his undergrad degree from the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business - Saint Louis University (where Eric met his wife Kathryn) and his Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. ⚜️ Eric and the NMBL team are currently working on a variety of fascinating turnarounds including the first cannabis receivership in Missouri, CannaVer, and an out of court wind down of a nonprofit foster care system. The team is also working with a number of nonprofits on strategic planning, leadership development and more. #commercialreceivership #receivership #receiverships #insolvency #turnaround #turnarounds #turnaroundmanagement #restructuring
