Founded by brothers Noah, Travis, and Koa Smith, along with close friend Koa Rothman, Sunrise Shack is built on the Hawaiian values of health, community, and positivity—a reflection of their lifelong connection to the island and the surf. Their bulletproof coffees and smoothies quickly became a staple, setting a new standard for what a health-driven café experience could be. And while their menu keeps evolving, their commitment to quality and community remains unchanged. For over seven years, we’ve been proud to be their coffee partner—not just supplying beans but crafting a bespoke coffee experience that complements their vision. From custom equipment and ceramics to a carefully curated lineup of signature blends, seasonal single origins, imported Prana Chai, and Hunted + Gathered Chocolates, every detail is intentional. The espresso program centers around the custom Gjusta Blend—designed to be rich, smooth, clean, and sweet, with no fruity finish. It’s a coffee made for chefs, bartenders, locals, and managers who need something solid and reliable. We also source seasonal single origins for drip and cold brew and recently introduced a single-serve instant coffee for the hotel’s in-room experience. Now, Gjelina is expanding beyond California. In 2023, Gjelina NYC opened on Bond Street in Manhattan. After a brief remodel, the three-story loft-style restaurant is now serving its signature rustic-yet-refined dishes—think crème fraîche blueberry compote pancakes, crispy butterball potatoes, and expertly crafted espresso martinis. At the end of 2024, Gjelina launched inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas in Las Vegas, bringing its signature wood-fired cuisine to Restaurant Row, home to some of the country’s most celebrated dining spots. Whether you’re indulging in fresh oysters, duck confit, wood-fired pizza, or roasted vegetables, you can count on an experience that delivers.
