Fiscal Sponsorship: CCF’s serves as the KC Metro’s only dedicated fiscal sponsorship practice. Sponsored groups can receive capacity building and technical assistance support that best fits their needs. Model A Fiscal Sponsorship: A direct program model, the independent sponsored project shares a common corporate structure, tax exemption, and insurances, as well as staff and systems for managing finances, human resources, legal, office space and other areas of back-office support with Community Capital Fund. Model C Fiscal Sponsorship: A pre-grant relationship model, Model C fiscal sponsorship provides an alternative to starting a nonprofit for mission aligned, community development projects in the Greater Kansas City region. Charitable projects selected for this program are able to seek grants and tax-deductible donations without having their own 501(c)(3) status, thus increasing the capacity and impact of their projects.
