The bill would change the law, increase community health funding, and formalize professional CHWs (#proCHWs) who are integrated into health systems.

Community Health Workers are critical for building responsive primary health care systems, bridging the gap between hard-to-reach areas and essential health services. But they can only be effective if they have the necessary resources, support, commodities and tools to serve their communities. CHWs need digital supply chain tools, adapted to meet their needs, to strengthen the community supply chain and ensure health products are available where and when they are needed.
