We are proud to announce that TradeEntry, CompatibL’s latest AI solution for what-if analysis designed to assist analysts in entering complex trades from email, has won Best Use of Machine Learning/AI at Risk Markets Technology Awards 2025. What-if analysis plays a crucial role in risk management by assessing the potential impact of a trade on both market and credit risk, as well as on trading limits. Before a trade is executed, its details must be captured in the bank’s risk systems so it can be evaluated within the context of the existing portfolio. Historically, this task relied on analysts manually interpreting free-form trade descriptions—often from email chains or relayed verbally—and entering the data into structured formats. CompatibL's AI solution was designed to automate this process, utilizing large language models, which excel at interpreting unstructured data, with workflows that replicate human strategies for ensuring reliability. The goal is not to be 100% accurate, which is not possible but for AI to be as accurate as humans! AI and LLMs are invaluable in finance for dealing with the wealth of natural language format documents that banks have. This year, CompatibL introduced an open-source package called TradeEntry AI to help deal with unformatted data for what-if analysis. The accuracy of this AI-based approach is expected to be similar to the accuracy of humans. Learn more 👉 http://spr.ly/6040QXF4Y #QuantMinds #quantfinance #LLMs #AI #advancedAI

We are proud to announce our win in the Best Use of Machine Learning/AI category at Risk.net Markets Technology Awards 2025 for TradeEntry, CompatibL’s AI solution to assist with entering complex trades for what-if analysis. TradeEntry tackles a critical, time-sensitive pain point in financial risk management – manual trade entry. This process is not only tedious but also error-prone, with potentially serious consequences. TradeEntry shines at handling structured notes and other complex trades. Our AI’s ability to capture these complexities accurately is enhanced by adopting a copy-and-paste approach inspired by manual entry. By marking up data fields and breaking down trade descriptions into manageable chunks, CompatibL’s workflow ensures every attribute is processed correctly. We tested the end-to-end batch calculation with fourth generation (4th Gen) AMD EPYC processors for a typical portfolio of trades, using CompatibL Platform deployed in Amazon Web Services (AWS) with Kubernetes. The hypothesis was that compute-intensive calculations benefit from the all-physical cores supplied in the 4th Gen AMD EPYC CPUs, and the AVX-512 instructions perform well without any degradation in clock speed. This case study highlights the findings as well as insights gained from testing the CompatibL Platform on AMD hardware.
