About us

Concordia is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that enables public-private partnerships to create a more prosperous and sustainable future. As equal parts convener, idea incubator, and partnership broker, Concordia is creating a new model for how a nonpartisan, nonprofit can have a global impact. Concordia aims to create a global community where challenges are solved collaboratively and inclusively. With the support of our members, partners, and advisors, Concordia facilitates social impact through our events and partnerships. Concordia believes in the partnership model as a holistic approach to addressing the world’s most pressing issues, as it pairs the knowledge and expertise of the nonprofit and public sectors while leveraging resources from the private sector. Concordia is most well-known for its Annual Summit, held during the time of the U.N. General Assembly in New York City. Since its founding in 2011, Concordia Summits have brought together over 3,500 participants, including 40 current and former heads of state, 450 international and Fortune 500 C-suite executives, prominent nonprofit leaders, and senior Congressional and Administration officials.

  • "A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but a molder of consensus." — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Today, we honor Dr. King’s visionary leadership and ability to bring people together for the greater good. His words remind us of the importance of creating spaces for collaboration, dialogue, and unity—values that are central to Concordia’s mission. #MLKDay

Over the years, the Venezuelan people's pursuit of human rights and a democratic solution to this crisis have inspired the world. Yesterday’s events in #Venezuela are part of what has been an ongoing focus for the Concordia community. This struggle resonates deeply with Concordia’s core values of promoting dialogue and democracy worldwide. We have had the honor of highlighting the voices of prominent leaders, eyewitnesses, and figures central to solving the country’s recent history. At the 2024 Annual Summit, we virtually hosted María Corina Machado Parisca, who bravely spoke from Venezuela about her commitment to returning her country to democracy. In addition to María Corina, we have hosted Venezuelan leaders like Juan Guiadó on The Swift Hour and Leopoldo López Mendoza on panels concerning the situation alongside Latin American leaders such as H.E. Jorge-Tuto Fernando Quiroga, H.E. Laura Chinchilla Miranda, and H.E. José María Aznar, and brought insights from US officials such as Rick Scott. Concordia is committed to maintaining Venezuela at the forefront of our programming, ensuring this critical topic receives the attention it deserves. We and our community hope for a peaceful and democratic solution as events unfold in Venezuela.

  • We at Concordia join the world in mourning the passing of President Jimmy Carter, a leader whose legacy transcends generations. As the 39th President of the United States, he championed diplomacy, international peace, and human rights—principles that align deeply with our mission to foster collaboration in addressing today’s and tomorrow’s challenges. We honor his enduring contributions and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and all those inspired by his extraordinary life.
