I came together with selected supply chain leaders and professionals from different companies and industries last week during the Global Supply Chain Logistics Summit in #Frankfurt organized by Conferenzia World. We had great exchanges, discussions on supply chain challenges, disruptions, trends, transformation, resilience, agility and many more topics. I had a chance to contribute as a panelist to the “Supply Chain resilience in the face of disruptions : Lessons learned from recent crises” panel discussion. I would like to thank to our moderator Thomas Schnur, Director of Logistics and Transformation – PwC Germany, for his challenging and thought-provoking questions, and great insights and exchanges from other panelists Vineet Khanna, former Global Head of Supply Chain Nestle, Sukanta Das, President and Chief Logistics Officer – Hindalco Industries Limited, Matthias Riedel, VP Head of Solution Advisory Digital Supply Chain – SAP Germany, Burkhard D. I also had a privilege to present my keynote “Agility and Supply Chain” focusing on how Agility is an enabler to support Supply Chain to cope with challenges in VUCA world. "𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐦𝐞!"   This silent scream echoes through companies worldwide, where 70% of transformation projects fail.   Yet we keep pushing change from above and continue with the methods of yesterday.   I was invited to speak at the Global Smart Manufacturing Summit in Munich on October 26th to challenge this broken approach.   Here's a truth we often overlook: Telling someone to change is like saying "I don't like who you are."   The solution?   Inspiring transformation instead of forcing it. 🌟 My core message: Let's flip the script on how we view "costs": ❇ People aren't costs, they are innovation enablers ❇ Manufacturing expenses aren't burdens, they are technological opportunities ❇ Material costs aren't just numbers, they are the foundation for value creation.   The data is clear: Only 23% of the global workforce feels engaged (Gallup 2024). The silent protest of people as a sign of their desperation.   But I see this as an enormous opportunity.
